3 hospitalized with severe injuries after Rancho Cordova crash
RANCHO CORDOVA – Three people have been taken to the hospital after a major crash along a Rancho Cordova road early Monday afternoon.
The scene is near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Douglas Road.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, but the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says two vehicles were involved. One of the vehicles ended up flipped over on its roof.

Deputies say three people have been hospitalized with severe injuries.
Due to the crash, southbound lanes of Sunrise Boulevard at Mechanical Drive are closed. Drivers are being urged to take a different route.
