Pickup Crashes Down Embankment Near Sunrise Boulevard Bridge Over American River

RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) — Rancho Cordova police say a pickup truck crashed down an embankment near the Sunrise Boulevard bridge over the American River on Tuesday morning.
The vehicle did not end up in the water, officers say, but it's unclear if there were any injuries.
Two of the three southbound lanes just south of the bridge were closed through most of the morning.
All lanes have since been reopened.
