Stockton Man Killed In Crash With Pursuit Suspect Identified

STOCKTON (CBS13) — The man who was killed in a collision at the end of a pursuit on Wednesday has been identified.

The San Joaquin County Coroner's office identified him as Ricardo Guillen Estrada, 58, of Stockton.

Sol Eichner, 29, allegedly led police on the pursuit from San Andreas to Stockton in a Mercedes Benz that crashed into Estrada's Honda.

Estrada was wearing his seat belt at the time of the collision.

CHP officers first tried pulling Eichner over in San Andreas before he took them on a pursuit into Stockton, where they lost sight of him and called off the chase.

Eichner was arrested after a good Samaritan stopped him from running away.
