Stockton Kidnapping Suspects Could Find Out Monday If Prosecutors Will Seek Death Penalty
STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) - Prosecutors are expected to announce whether they will seek the death penalty against two men charged with killing a bank robbery hostage and two others in Stockton last year.
Jaime Ramos and co-defendant Pablo Ruvalcaba are due in court Monday afternoon. They're charged in the July 16 robbery that turned into a running gun battle with police. Two of the other robbery suspects were killed as well as 41-year-old Misty Holt-Singh, a bank customer.

Ramos is the lone survivor of the three suspected robbers. Ruvalcaba is suspected of driving the men to the bank, but he's also charged with the deaths.
