Stockton Animal Shelter To Accept Stray Dogs Again After Possible Bacteria Exposure Didn't Cause Any Infections
STOCKTON (CBS13) — The Stockton Animal Shelter will be reopening this weekend after a possible infectious bacterial exposure prompted the facility to pause intakes of dogs.
Shelter officials said they stopped accepting stray and confined dogs back on Monday after the possible exposure.
A testing lab has since found that the bacterial exposure didn't infect any dogs at the shelter.
The shelter will now be reopening on Sunday at noon to accepting stray dogs again.
