Significant Amount Of Rain Coming This Week
We're expecting to see some significant rain this weekend.
Even though we will see a mix of clouds and sunshine today, no wet weather will reach our region.
The weather will be quiet between now and Thursday evening when an atmospheric river of moisture is expected to move into our area.
Rain is expected to hit the coast on Thursday morning. It will move into our area late Thursday night and into Friday. Between Thursday and Sunday, we'll see as much as two inches of rain in the valley. Temperatures will hover in the low 60s.
We'll see measurable rain an snow in the Sierra above 6,500 feet.
The high today in the valley will hover around 67 degrees. It could reach 70 in Sonora. Lake Tahoe will be in the 50s.
