Short Power Outage Hits Terminal B At Sac Int'l Airport
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Officials are investigating what caused Terminal B at Sacramento International Airport to lose power early Thursday afternoon.
Laurie Slothower, the airport's spokesperson, said the power outage lasted from about 1:10 to 1:25 p.m.
No flights were affected, but ticket counters, escalators, elevators, the luggage carousel and concessions had no power.
Two people, a worker at the airport and a customer, were stuck in an elevator for four minutes during the outage. Both were able to get out safely, Slothower said.
The Automated People Move shuttle was not affected by the outage.
