Search continues for domestic violence suspect in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO — A manhunt continues for a suspect believed to have been involved in a kidnapping and domestic violence case, authorities said Saturday.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the incident originated in the south Sacramento area on Enrico Boulevard, and the suspect was later believed to have been barricaded inside a Del Paso Heights-area home on Kern Street.

Authorities were able to clear the home, but the suspect, a man identified as 39-year-old Martin Holloway, Jr., was not located. Holloway also had a separate active felony warrant for stalking that is unrelated to this incident.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim in the incident suffered minor injuries that didn't require hospitalization but were severe enough to be criminal.
