15-year-old stabbed at Arden Arcade shopping center
ARDEN ARCADE -- An investigation is underway after a 15-year-old was stabbed at a shopping center along Watt Avenue on Thursday night.
The scene is near Watt and Whitney avenues, in front of the Grocery Outlet store.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the teen was approached by one or two suspects and was stabbed in the torso at least once. The teen then walked into the Grocery Outlet store.
Deputies say the teen suffered life-threatening injuries and has been taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive his injuries, as of Friday morning.
No information about the suspects has been released.
