Sharon Osbourne Talks About Being 'Face Shamed'
LOS ANGELES (CBS Sacramento) - Sharon Osbourne, Monday on "The Talk," discussed the term "face shaming." Osbourne talked about this after the Daily Mail wrote in an article about her saying, "Years of Botox appear to have taken their toll."
While she admits to having surgeries in the past such as facelifts, gastric bands, and Botox injections, she hasn't recently and didn't appreciate being the "breaking news" topic for Daily Mail.
Osborne said during the talk show, "Firstly, it must have been a really slow news day," They get you when you're doing a ridiculous face, and they catch you in that one second." One word in particular Osborne went to town on is the word "puffy" which the article suggested her face looked.
She made a joke with Entertainment Tonight saying, "The word puffy? How dare they say I look puffy! It's just silliness. You can't take it seriously."
The picture that the Daily Mail used was taken during the City of Hope 2015 Spirit of Life gala that her daughter Kelly also attended. Kelly told her mom, "Hey mom, I'm glad you got it. They left me alone."
