Sharks Heritage Jersey Leaked [PHOTO]

The San Jose Sharks have kept their lips shut and the new 25th anniversary "Heritage" jerseys under wraps for long enough - until now.

According to Icethtics, they will bring back the original Sharks logo, first drawn up and worn in 1991, along with a modern rendition of the original away jerseys (back then the away team wore the colored sweaters and the home wore white).

The Sharks have three "Heritage Nights" planned throughout the season, although I think it should be a lot more. The nights are Nov. 3 against Columbus, Dec. 1 against Pittsburgh and Jan. 18 versus Ottawa.

While this is what many fans were hoping to see during last year's Winter Classic, the organization approved the right design this time. They even went back to the franchise's original designer, Terry Smith, to whip up a nice tribute - the first tribute - to the franchise's birth.

I, for one, am a huge fan of these if they are indeed true. Bringing back gray as the alternate color instead of orange makes the teal pop so much more (plus, I'm pretty sure most sharks in real life are gray, not orange).
