SB Highway 99 In Elk Grove Slated For Full Closure

ELK GROVE (CBS13) - Motorists take note: southbound Highway 99 is scheduled for a full closure Thursday night.
Caltrans says some bridge work needs to be done and a full closure of the southbound side of the freeway is needed.
Southbound Highway 99 will be closed from Elk Grove Boulevard to Twin Cities Road. A detour at Elk Grove Boulevard that will take drivers over to Interstate 5 will be in place.

The closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday.
Serious traffic delays are possible, Caltrans warns.
