Out-Of-Service PG&E Pipe Blamed For Causing Boat Crash In Delta

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) – Deputies in San Joaquin County are calling on the U.S. Coast Guard after an out-of-service PG&E pipe apparently caused a boat crash.
The incident happened Sunday in the area of Mildred Island and Empire Cut, west of Stockton.
Deputies say the partially submerged steel pipe was blocking the southern entrance to the island at the time of the crash, causing damage to the boat.
They are now working with coast guard members to mitigate the hazard.
