Sacramento Police: Traffic Delayed Near 8th St and K St Due To Train Coming Off Tracks
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - According to the Sacramento Police Department, a Regional Transit train that went off the tracks caused traffic delays in the area of 8th and K streets Friday afternoon.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
A SacRT spokesperson said things should be resolved by 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Police are advising drivers to plan for alternate routes as they work to put the train back on its tracks and reopen the streets. Work was also being done on overhead wires.
The incident affected light rail riders at Arden and 13th Street, SacRT said. A bus shuttle service was being provided in the meantime.
