Police: North Sacramento Death No Longer Classified As Homicide

UPDATE: Police investigators are now saying that no foul play was involved in the incident and are no longer calling it a homicide.

Sacramento police say the woman who died had some sort of mental issue.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Police say a call for medical help is now being investigated as a homicide.

Officers called to the scene along Northglen Street and Haggin Avenue late Friday night.

The original call came in around 2 p.m. as the fire department took a victim to a local hospital. The person later died.

It's not clear yet what the original medical call was for or why detectives believe the incident was a homicide.

No details about the person who died have been released.
