Sacramento Police Investigate Christmas Fatal Hit And Run

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating a deadly hit and run in South Sacramento.
It happened along Freeport Blvd. south of Florin Road.
Officers got a call about a man down in the roadway shortly after 9 p.m.
There is evidence of a vehicle collision at the scene and debris in the roadway.
The victim is believed to be a man in his 40s.
There is no vehicle or suspect description at this time.
