Pedestrian Found Dead After Hit-And-Run On Florin Road

SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) – A search is on for the driver who hit and killed a person in south Sacramento early Thursday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, a passerby found a person's body on Florin Road near Kara Drive and Power Inn Road around 2 a.m. Medics soon pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Officers say, from the evidence left at the scene, the car that hit the pedestrian could be a 2002 BMW M3. The car will have moderate to major damage to its right front and passenger side.
The name of the victim has not been released. He has only been identified as a man at this point.
