Sac State Student Dies After Pellet Gun Shooting At Off-Campus Gathering
UPDATE 11:26 a.m. — Sacramento police say the shooting happened around 3 a.m. Friday at a home on Lycoming Court.
Fire personnel transported Molina to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Investigators say they believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Sacramento State President Robert Nelsen sent an email on Friday morning to students and faculty saying a student died from an off-campus pellet gun shooting.
In the email, Nelsen says the student's name is Will Molina. He was a graduate of Folsom High School and was set to graduate this May.

Nelsen says grief counseling services will be made available for everyone who needs support.
The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the incident which reportedly happened Friday morning.
About four deaths per year are caused by BB guns or pellet rifles, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports.
