Sac Sheriff Recovers Stolen Car Belonging To Lisa Ling's Father

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – CNN journalist Lisa Ling took to Instagram Thursday to thank the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department for finding her father's stolen car.

Apparently, his Sacramento-area home had been burglarized recently. Numerous items were stolen along with the car, according to Sacramento Sheriff's.

Thursday, the car was spotted by stolen vehicle detectives. They ran the plates and found it was, indeed, the stolen car and pulled it over. The driver was arrested and the car, along with other belongings, was then given back to Ling's father.

Ling is a Sacramento native. From another previous Instagram post where she captured a rainbow after Wednesday's storms, it appears she is in Sacramento for the holidays.
