ROSEVILLE – Two teenagers have been arrested after an apparent shoplifting turned robbery at the Galleria Mall in Roseville last week, authorities say.

According to the Roseville Police Department, back on Sept. 26, two young males were allegedly spotted inside the Nordstrom trying to pocket some merchandise.

Loss Prevention Officers were able to detain the pair, but police allege that the teens threatened the officers and then ran out of the mall. Exactly what was said has not been detailed by police, but no weapons were ever seen during the incident.

Both of the suspects were soon identified, with police arresting them the next day.

The suspects have been identified as 18-year-old Kaleb Morrison and a 16-year-old boy.

Morrison has been booked into Placer County Jail while the 16-year-old was booked into Placer County Juvenile Hall.
