Suspect arrested in Rocklin after multi-agency chase in Placer County
ROCKLIN – A man is under arrest after a chase ended in a Rocklin neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
The Placer County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was initially pulled over for a traffic violation. He then took off, sparking the chase.
At one point during the chase, deputies say spike strips were deployed.
It was near Rocklin Road and westbound Interstate 80 where the suspect bailed out of the car.
Rocklin police, Placer County sheriff's deputies and California Highway Patrol officers were out searching the area. Drones were also deployed above the neighborhood.
Around 5 a.m., the suspect was taken into custody.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
