Rocklin Native Studying In Scotland Found Dead
FIFE, Scotland (CBS13) – A young woman from Rocklin studying overseas has died.
Officials from St. Andrews University in Scotland say 24-year-old Kaitlyn Vasconcellos was found dead in her bed on Tuesday.
Kate, as she was known, graduated from Whitney High School in Rocklin.
She was at the same college attended by Prince William and Kate Middleton to study economics and was set to graduate.
University Principal Louise Richardson said teachers and friends will "remember Kate as a quiet, thoughtful and determined student with an unfailingly pleasant nature."
The cause of her death has not been released, but police say it's not suspicious.
