Rihanna, Paul McCartney and Kanye West to Perform at the GRAMMYs

Paul McCartneyKanye West and and Rihanna are about to take their collaboration, "FourFiveSeconds," to the stage: the trio will perform the song during the 57th annual GRAMMY Awards Sunday night.

The track, which has not been released on any album yet, is available for purchase on iTunes. Will it eventually end up on a full-length album? Maybe—but probably not on Kanye's next one, since Rihanna is the main artist listed on the track.

But Sir Paul and Yeezus have been spending quite a bit of time in the studio together; their Rihanna-free collab, "Only One," was released last month.

Sir Paul has been a part of a few epic collaborations at the GRAMMYs over the years. For instance, at the 48th annual ceremony in 2006, he performed his solo song "Fine Line" followed by the Beatles' "Helter Skelter," but later on joined Linkin Park and Jay Z for their medley of "Numb/Encore," which went into the Beatles classic "Yesterday."

Three years later, at the 51st GRAMMYs in 2009, he performed the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There" with Dave Grohl sitting in on drums.

At the 54th GRAMMYs in 2012 he was joined by Joe Walsh and Diana Krall for "My Valentine"; he also ended the show with a classic rendition of the Beatles "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" with Walsh, Grohl (this time on guitar) and Bruce Springsteen.

And at last year's 56th annual GRAMMY Awards, we were treated to the Paul collab that people wanted to see the most—when his former bandmate Ringo Starr  sat in on drums for "Queenie Eye." That, of course, was a prelude the their lengthier reunion the following night during The Night That Changed America: A GRAMMY Salute To The Beatles (read our review of the show).

Rihanna has done some on-stage collaborating as well: during the 2013 GRAMMY Awards she performed "Stay" with Mikky Ekko and took part in an all-star performance along with StingBruno MarsDamian Marley and Ziggy Marley. And at the 2011 GRAMMYs she performed "What's My Name?" with Drake, and also took part in an all-star performance with EminemDr. DreSkylar Grey and Adam Levine.

Kanye, meanwhile, had a collab-heavy night at 2009's GRAMMY Awards, performing "American Boy" with Estelle and taking part in a now-legendary performance of "Swagga Like Us" with Jay Z, T.I.Lil' Wayne and a very pregnant M.I.A. The year before, he performed a memorable "Stronger" with the robots of Daft Punk. And who could forget his performance of "Gold Digger" at the 48th annual GRAMMYs in 2006 with Jamie Foxx and the Florida A&M University Marching Band?

Another legendary performance, then, could very well be in the making.

The 57th annual GRAMMY Awards air live on Feb. 8 at 8 pm EST on CBS.
