Report: Kings Approached John Calipari About Coaching, Front-Office Duties
UPDATE:
Coach Calipari has sent a tweet stating he will be staying with the University of Kentucky.
At no time has @Vivek offered me a job. I WILL BE AT KENTUCKY.

Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Sacramento Kings have reached out to University of Kentucky's coach, John Calipari, about taking over front-office and coaching duties for the NBA team.
A source has told Wojnarowski that Calipari has been talking with Kings' owner "Vivek Ranadive and other members of the Kings' ownership group in recent weeks." These rumored talks have included Calipari taking over coaching and/or front office jobs. No formal offer has been made according to the source.
Several questions arise with the report. Especially since the Kings organization recently brought in both Vlade Divac, as the V.P. of Basketball operations, and George Karl, as the head coach. Both have not even been in their perspective roles for a full season.
The Kings has a strong connection to the University of Kentucky. Calipari coached DeMarcus Cousins the 2009-10 season. Sacramento's first overall round, center Willie Cauley-Stein, just complete an impressive season at Kentucky.
