Report: Kaepernick Sits Out Election, Won't Be Voting

SANTA CLARA (CBS) - San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, whose National Anthem protest has galvanized race relations across the country and drawn the ire of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, says he will not be voting on Tuesday, according to a published report.

According to Sports Illustrated, Kaepernick told one of their reporters he would not be heading to the polling place on Tuesday.

Kaepernick spoke about his dislike for both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump back in September.

Kaepernick's Twitter feed remains active on Tuesday, with him retweeting a couple of political tweets.
