Ray-Ray Armstrong Under Investigation For Taunting Police Dog
According to KDKA's Richie Walsh, Oakland Raiders linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong is under investigation for allegedly taunting a police dog at Heinz Field before the game against the Steelers on Sunday.
In Pennsylvania, it is considered a third-degree felony for taunting any police K-9, however, Armstrong has not received any charges as of now.
"We were immediately notified about the incident, and we immediately initiated a criminal investigation into the matter," Allegheny County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Kevin Kraus said, via CBS Pittsburgh. "Sheriff's Office supervisors interviewed witnesses and reviewed video surveillance recordings at Heinz Field. We notified the District Attorney's Office on Sunday. The Sheriff's Office is currently reviewing all of the information and reports to make a final determination relating to charges."
Armstrong, 24, is in his third full season in the NFL. For the Raiders this season, he has amassed just 13 tackles and one sack in eight games (two starts).
The Raiders later fell to the Steelers 38-35 by a late field goal.
