Police: Suspected Shoplifter Bites Vacaville Target Employee
VACAVILLE (CBS13) – Police say a woman suspected of shoplifting bit a store worker while trying to get away.
The incident happened Tuesday, according to the Vacaville Police Department.
Officers say they were called by Target loss prevention about a suspected shoplifter. At the scene, officers were able to find the woman in a car and soon arrested her.
Target authorities told police that the woman, 35-year-old Nicole Turbin, bit an employee then took off with her stolen goods. The employee suffered minor injuries, police say, and is expected to be OK.
Police discovered Turbin has an outstanding $10,000 warrant for her arrest in Napa County on drug charges.
