Police: Lodi Teen Tried Doing Donuts At Park, Flipped SUV
LODI (CBS13) – Police say a young man from Lodi has been arrested for vandalism after allegedly trying to do some donuts at a park.
The incident happened a little before 11 p.m. Friday at DeBenedetti Park along S. Lower Sacramento Road.
Lodi Police say someone called them to report seeing an overturned SUV at the park. At the scene, officers found the SUV to be empty – but a short investigation quickly led them to 18-year-old Isauro Flores and his two underage passengers.
Investigators say Flores drove the SUV into the park and tried to do some donuts in the grass, only to flip the SUV over. The crash left extensive damage to the field, police say.
Flores was booked at Lodi City Jail and is facing charges of vandalism and hit-and-run.
