Police Arrest Man Accused Of Breaking Into Elk Grove Home, Hurting Residents

ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Two people are recovering after a man broke into their Elk Grove home.

The incident happened Wednesday night along the 8900 block of Haflinger Way.

Officers say the suspect entered the home and held a woman at knife point. When others tried to restrain him, police say a teenage boy and woman were hurt.

Both were taken to the hospital.

The suspect, who police say appeared to be under the influence, was taken into custody. His identity has not been released, but police believe him to be a local transient.
