Rumored Threat After Fight Prompts Extra Police Presence At Patterson High

PATTERSON (CBS13) – Patterson High School has an extra police presence on campus Friday due to a threat rumor.

The extra security comes after police were notified about a rumored threat that originated after a fight at the school, according to Patterson Police Services.

Officers spoke to the students involved in the fight and their parents and determined the alleged threat was a rumor. No arrests have been made at this point, police say.

Police will still be on campus today.
