Oregon Man Impersonates Sheriff's Deputy On Test Drive, Pulls Over Motorcyclist

SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Authorities arrested a Salem, Oregon, man accused of impersonating a sheriff's deputy while taking an SUV for a test drive.
The Marion County sheriff's office says 39-year-old Anthony McGuire told employees at a car lot that he was a deputy before taking a black Chevrolet Tahoe for a spin on Saturday.
Shortly into the test drive, McGuire rolled down his window and yelled at a motorcyclist to pull over. The motorcyclist obeyed and McGuire told him that he was stopping him for speeding.
The sheriff's office says McGuire had no badge or identification, and his actions caused the motorcyclist and two employees who had gone along for the test drive to become suspicious.
They called real deputies, and McGuire was taken to the county jail.
