One Killed, Three Injured in Woodland Collision
WOODLAND (CBS13) -- A woman was killed and three others were injured after a crash in Woodland Friday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol says they received calls of a head-on collision just south of Woodland Community College on County Road 102 at County Road 25 around 4:45 p.m.
The collision, between a pickup truck and a Toyota Corolla carrying three passengers between the ages of one and seven, occurred when the driver of the Corolla drifted into the oncoming truck's southbound lane on County Road 102.
The driver of the Corolla sustained major injuries upon impact and died later that evening at U.C. Davis Medical Center.
The identity of that driver has not yet been released.
