Person Killed In Modesto Crash

MODESTO (CBS13) – Police say at least one person has died after a crash in Modesto Monday morning.
The scene is near the intersection of Polaris Street and Standiford Avenue.
No details about the crash, including who or what was involved in it, have been released at this point. No information about the person killed has been released either.
Police say eastbound lanes of Standiford Avenue between Winegarden Drive and McHenry Avenue are closed due to the investigation. Traffic is being diverted and it's unclear when the road will reopen.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
