Milpitas Police Dispatcher Arrested On Child Pornography Charge
TRACY (CBS13) — An award-winning police dispatcher was arrested on a child pornography charge.
The Tracy Police Department arrested Daniel Palmer, 41 of Tracy on Thursday for possession of child pornography.
Palmer works as a dispatcher for the Milpitas Police Department, where he has been placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation continues.
Palmer was named the 2010 Dispatcher of the Year. He has been with the department since 2001.
The Milpitas Police Department issued a statement saying it was "saddened and shocked" by the allegations.
