Marysville man, woman killed in Highway 70 motorcycle crash

YUBA COUNTY – A Marysville man and woman were killed in a motorcycle crash along Highway 70 late Monday night, authorities say.

According to California Highway Patrol, just before 11:30 p.m., a motorcycle being driven by a 62-year-old Marysville resident and with a 63-year-old Marysville woman as a passenger was heading north on Highway 70.

Near Nobel Road, a sedan was pulling out of a driveway along the highway at the same time – driving right into the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle ended up crashing into the sedan, ejecting both riders.

Officers say both riders were killed in the crash. The names of the riders have not been released.

Investigators don't believe drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
