Man Suspected Of Stealing Budweiser Truck In Modesto
MODESTO (CBS13) — This bud wasn't for him, but police say he took the truck anyway.
The California Highway Patrol says a man stole a Budweiser truck near Orangeburg Avenue in Modesto, sparking a pursuit on Highway 99.
The driver ditched the truck while it was still in motion and tried to flee on foot. He was captured by a nearby IHOP on Orangeburg.
An alert CHP officer managed to get into the truck and stop it before it entered a busy intersection.
