Man shot in Sacramento's Oak Park neighborhood dies at hospital
SACRAMENTO – An investigation is underway after a man was shot and later died in Sacramento on Sunday evening, police said.
The shooting happened on the 3400 block of 33rd Street in the Oak Park neighborhood sometime before 7 p.m. on Sunday.
The man was transported to the hospital where he later died, police said. His name has not been released, but Sacramento police have identified him as being 53 years old.
There's been no word on a suspect but homicide investigators responded to the scene to take over the investigation.
