Man Killed By Light-Rail Train Monday Identified
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A man who was hit and killed by a light-rail train in Rancho Cordova Monday has been identified.
Jason Murdock, 32, of Sacramento was hit while crossing the tracks at Routier Road and Folsom Boulevard just after 3 p.m., according to a Sacramento Metro Fire Department statement.
The train operator reported seeing Murdock and threw on the emergency brakes, but it was too late.
