Man In RV Leads Authorities On Chase From Fairfield To Vacaville
FAIRFIELD (CBS13) – Authorities have a man in custody after a chase that lasted from Fairfield to Vacaville early Wednesday morning.
The man allegedly failed to pull his RV over for police during a traffic stop in Fairfield. The resulting chase took authorities along Interstate 80 into Vacaville before the man bailed from his vehicle, jumped a chain-link fence and then hid.
A K9 later found the man hiding in some bushes near Ranch Hotel, off of I-80, and helped take him into custody.
Authorities note that the man has outstanding warrants in Napa County and will now be facing new charges in Solano County.
The man is currently being treated for bites sustained when he was taken into custody by the K9.
