Sheriff: Argument ends with man being shot 3 times in front of Arden Arcade apartment complex
ARDEN ARCADE – An investigation is underway after a man was shot multiple times in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento County on Labor Day.
The scene is at an apartment complex along the 3600 block of Edison Avenue.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, it appears that an argument preceded the shooting. At some point during the argument, which was happening near the driveway to the complex, the suspect pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Deputies say the victim, a 63-year-old man, was shot at least three times.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition, the sheriff's office says, while witnesses say the suspect ran off.
Detectives are now talking with witnesses and looking at surveillance video.
Few details about the suspect have been released.
