Man in critical condition after North Highlands house fire
NORTH HIGHLANDS — A man is dead after firefighters pulled him out of a burning house in North Highlands, officials confirmed Monday morning.
Sacramento Metro Fire said the fire happened shortly on Saturday before 6 p.m. on Morazan Street.
The man pulled from the fire, identified as 51-year-old Stephen Brace, was taken to an area hospital and was reported dead on Monday morning. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
