Man, 29, Arrested In Walnut Grove Murder
WALNUT GROVE (CBS13) - Detectives say they have made an arrest in the murder of a man in Walnut Grove.
The incident happened back on the night of Feb. 7. Deputies found a man, later identified as 50-year-old Tony Barambila, had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thursday, detectives announced that 29-year-old Acampo resident Macario Villalpando had been arrested in connection to the murder.
Investigators believe Villalpando and Barambila had some sort of argument just before the shooting.
Villalpando has been booked at the Sacramento County Jail and is facing a charge of murder.
