Deadly crash blocked Southport Parkway in West Sacramento
WEST SACRAMENTO – A deadly crash involving a single vehicle had a major West Sacramento thoroughfare closed on Friday.
The scene was on Southport Parkway. Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear.
West Sacramento police confirmed that only one vehicle was involved in the crash. One person has died, police say.
Both directions of Southport Parkway were closed between Lake Washington Boulevard and Ramco Street through the early morning hours. The roadway reopened around 9 a.m.
The name of the person who died has not been released.
