Little Joe Loudmouth: Kobe To Kupchak "I Can't Get Better With These Guys"
The Kings fell to the Rockets last night in overtime 113-109. With the loss, the Kings drop below .500 with an 11-12 record. Still, at 11-12 the Kings currently sit 9th in the Western Conference. That's without DeMarcus Cousins. If you told me at the beginning of the season that on December 12th the Kings would be 11-12 with their best player out, I'd tell you you're crazy.
Meanwhile, you head down south, the Lakers find themselves 2nd to last in the West, and the frustrations are starting to boil over for one Kobe Bryant. The future Hall of Famer isn't use to being at the bottom and isn't ok with it. With that said, he kind of put the Lakers in this position if you think about it. No one wants to play with the aging Bryant, knowing he's going to take 25% of the teams shots, all while making $23.5 million this year.
Yesterday at a Lakers practice, Arash Markazi of ESPN who covers the Lakers, caught an upset Kobe yell at his team and GM Mitch Kupchak. Kobe called his teammates soft and basically yelled at Kupchak saying he can't get better with these guys. You can watch Kobe go off on his team, using some NSFW words, right here.
