Man Stabbed At Yuba County Home; Suspect Sought

EAST LINDA (CBS13) — Detectives are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing a man at his Linda home, the Yuba County Sheriff's Office said on Saturday.

Detectives said the stabbing happened Friday afternoon along the 1800 block of Kenwood Way.

According to the sheriff's office, the suspect—wearing all black clothing, a mask, and a hat with the hood of his sweater pulled over it—approached a home and stabbed the resident who opened the door.

Ring video shows the moments before this attack. It starts like any other delivery, with the man dressed in black holding an iPhone box as he knocks on the door.

"Hello, hello, I have a delivery," the suspect says.

There's a pause, then the man on the other side answers the door. The suspect forces the homeowner back into his house and pulls out a knife.
It's not clear exactly how many times the resident was stabbed before the suspect took off on his bike.

The victim's son said his dad is expected to make a full recovery. A neighbor who called 9-1-1 shared a video with us of the suspect on his way to the front door a few houses away.

Neighbors in the area said this was a mellow neighborhood where everyone knows each other, and it was a shock when they saw police outside their windows.

Detectives are searching for anyone who may know who the individual is or has information.
