Kings Release New Golden 1 Center Hardwood Design
With the Sacramento Kings new Golden 1 Center inching closer to opening night on Oct. 27, the team has released the design of the new court.
The Kings underwent a rebranding process early this Summer, picking a new logo, secondary logos and new uniforms for next season. The court is no different, adding the new 20-foot logo for the half-court circle and using the new typeface around the edges.
According to Kings.com, "The court will feature a bleached finish to show off the intricate grain patterns of the sustainably-harvested maple trees used to create the playing surface. Plus, the region will be represented at the heart of the floor, as Sacramento elm will be integrated under the center court logo."
