Fox scores 31, DeRozan adds 27 as Kings beat Hawks 123-115

ATLANTA – The Sacramento Kings were able to hold off a late-game push by the Atlanta Hawks, walking out with a 123-115 win Friday night. 

The Kings held the lead for most of the night, but the Hawks got right by in the game in the final quarter when they put together an 11-0 run and eventually tied the game.

After the Kings regained the lead, Domantas Sabonis, who scored 15 points and collected 14 rebounds, fouled out with just over two minutes to go. 

Late free throws by DeMar DeRozan and Malik Monk, as well as a blocked shot by Keegan Murray, helped the Kings get to the finish line. 

De'Aaron Fox scored a game-high 31 points, knocking down four 3-pointers while collecting 7 rebounds. 

Murray collected a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. 

Keon Ellis scored 12 points off the bench in 19 minutes of play.

Trae Young scored 25 points and dished 12 assists for the Hawks. Garrison Mathews scored 23 off the bench while knocking down 7 3-pointers. 

The Kings move above .500 for the first time this season, with a 3-2 record. They head to Toronto to take on the Raptors on Saturday.
