Isleton Bridge work begins; closures in place until summer 2025
ISLETON – Sacramento River Delta drivers, take note: The Isleton Bridge is going to be closed most days until next summer.
Starting Tuesday, the Isleton Bridge will be closed six days a week for seven months for repair work.
Caltrans says the bridge, which is near Highway 160, will be closed Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Notably, no work is planned from Nov. 27 to Dec. 1 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The closure comes just after one along the Highway 12 Rio Vista Bridge that lifted Monday morning. Caltrans says they made mechanical repairs and fixed one of the lanes, along with replacing some parts on the bridge.
Drivers looking to detour the Isleton Bridge closure will have to cross over at the Walnut Grove Bridge.
