Investigation underway after 2 shot on Florin Road in south Sacramento

2 shot on Florin Road in south Sacramento

SACRAMENTO — Authorities are investigating a shooting that happened in the south Sacramento area early Saturday afternoon.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said one person was found shot around 1 p.m. along Florin Road. After the victim was transported to an area hospital, another gunshot victim showed up at an area hospital.

Both of the victim's injuries were described as not life-threatening.

The sheriff's office initially reported there were three victims, but later clarified there was miscommunication with medical professionals.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.

No arrests have been made.
