Home Destroyed By Fire In Vacaville

VACAVILLE (CBS13) - Fire crews in Vacaville had their hands full Sunday night mopping up the remains of a three-alarm house fire.

The fire started around 4 p.m. off of Cherry Glen Road and quickly spread. No one was in the home at the time.

The fire closed the Cherry Glen Road exit on westbound Interstate 80.

Crews were putting out hotspots into the evening tonight. Authorities have not said what sparked the fire.

The home is considered a total loss.
